The Best of Fall

There's not a drastic season change to fall here in Florida. But, it is nice to drive through roads that are arched with tall trees while the yellow leaves flutter down. Fall in Florida really means lots of rain and the blessed end of hurricane season. Also, temperatures drop to a bearable level instead of scorching HOT.

I love the cooler weather, the cloudy days, and the smell of cinnamon. Yellow, orange, and red decor for the season is comforting.

Peaches are no longer in season, but the time for apples to take center stage is here. And my absolute favorite, pommegranates, are FINALLY in season! I can't wait to make mulled cider and beef stew.
